Church Planting

Church Planting:

Blessings for Myanmar supports and equips future church planters who are called to establish new congregations across Myanmar. Believing that church planting is a powerful tool for spiritual revival as seen in the Book of Acts, the ministry is committed to this mission with enduring vision and purpose.

Those with a godly passion to launch life-saving churches are welcomed and nurtured. Church planters receive guidance, care, and practical assistance until they successfully establish healthy, growing churches that multiply and impact their communities.

1. What is “Church Planting”?

Jesus used the term “ecclesia” in Matthew 16:18, “And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.”
Church planters are devoted to establishing multiplying and life-saving congregations that worship Jesus Christ and serve as spiritual homes in local communities. Planting churches is essential to fulfilling the Great Commission, as it nurtures believers, anchors Gospel history, and integrates faith into every aspect of life. These churches are built on strong confessions of faith in Christ and express unity through diverse programs. Church planters respond to God’s calling to carry out one of the most vital tasks in advancing His Kingdom.

2. How to become a Church Planter

First Step : Calling
Jesus said, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19).
Every believer is called to live out Jesus’ commands and commit their lives to God’s Kingdom. Church planting plays a central role in fulfilling the Great Commission and is a shared mission for all Christians. However, each person must respond with personal conviction and willingness. If you feel called to plant a church, speak with your pastor or church leader. They can guide you and connect you with programs designed to equip and support future church planters.

Second Step : Training
Blessings of Myanmar is affiliated with several ministries and fellowship organizations to accomplish its collective vision for God’s Kingdom in Myanmar. One of strategic partnerships is offering programs formulated by Olivet Leadership Institute.

Third Step : Setting Target Area
Once the training program is successfully completed, future church planters can fill in the form that answers your mission target area. The form is approved and confirmed when your church pastors and Blessings for Myanmar, Planting Agency agree to proceed to the next step.
